Terms of Service

SteadyChat ("we," "our") operates steadychat.info (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.

About the Service

SteadyChat provides a unified interface for accessing multiple large-language models (LLMs) and AI services. SteadyChat is independent of and not affiliated with any AI model provider. We access their capabilities through official APIs under separate service agreements.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute the Service or any part of it.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place unreasonable load on the Service's infrastructure.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, trademarks, or branding.

AI-Generated Content

The Service relays your inputs to third-party AI models and returns their outputs. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or non-unique. It must not be treated as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for how you use or rely on any output, and for ensuring your inputs do not contain copyrighted, confidential, or sensitive material you are not authorized to share.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and branding of the Service are owned by SteadyChat or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation.

Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed as displayed at the time of purchase and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.

Credits

Image generation is available only while you have an active paid subscription (Plus). Purchasing prepaid credits for image generation is also limited to subscribers with an active subscription; if your subscription ends or lapses, you cannot generate images or buy additional image credits until you resubscribe.

The Service may offer prepaid credits for image generation and other metered features. Credits are limited-use digital service credits, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for money or monetary value.

Credits included with a subscription are promotional or plan-based allowances and expire 30 days after they are granted unless we explicitly state otherwise. Purchased credits do not expire unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time remaining in a billing cycle.

Fair Use Policy

Plus subscriptions include unlimited access to all models under a fair use policy. This means:

• The Service is intended for personal, human-initiated use only. Automated access, scripting, bots, and programmatic usage are not permitted.
• We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily restrict access if usage significantly exceeds normal human conversation patterns.
• Upstream AI providers impose their own rate limits. During periods of high demand, response times may vary or requests may be temporarily queued.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before applying any restrictions to your account.

Refunds and Disputes

Subscription refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge to in@steadychat.live. Subscription refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may be granted at our sole discretion, for example when the Service was substantially unavailable during the billing period.

Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by law. If the Service, your account, or a credit-bearing feature is discontinued or terminated, unused credits may be forfeited except where required by law. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please reach out so we can resolve it directly.

Third-Party Services

The Service may link to or integrate with external websites and APIs. We do not control and are not responsible for any third-party content, accuracy, or practices. Your interaction with third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SteadyChat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SteadyChat harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including liability limitations and indemnification) remain in effect.

Modifications

We may update these Terms or the Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, discontinue use and delete your account.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
